It's nice and tall, so no worries about bears or Tasmanian devils at night.

I don't even want to begin to think about what it would cost to plate and insure such a beast, or the cost of fuel to move it, lol. One tank of fuel would likely bankrupt me!

Actually a Off Road Motorhome that he built using an old Australian Army ACCO truck. The ACCO is now built by IVECO here and used for Garbage Compactors, Concrete Mixers etc. he built the Off Road Motorhome for long term off road adventures. He was at that stage completing 3 yrs off roading in the Motorhome. They have since built another Off Road Motorhome.

Not that much here, as the truck is old. These are great on sand very narrow tracks would be a problem though. Still they are carrying much much more than a normal TC.

Tony Lee going up one of the many sand dunes you get in Central Australia in his Off Road Camper. Rob Gray's home built device would be doing the same.

I'm following the blog of another couple with a similar truck. They were so excited they had to post that they found a deal on tires!!!! Only $500 each when they were expecting $1200 each and this was after only 20,000 miles on the new tires they started with.

And can you imagine stepping out a little groggy at night to relieve yourself and missing the steps?

If it makes them happy and no one is harmed, it's the right choice for them but there's a reason you don't see many of these.

Another Off Road Motorhome based on a old ACCO truck.
