I read on one of the many RMP threads about a product that you guys have used specifically on faded vinyl graphics that brought them back to life. However, I can't find that info anywhere when I do a search. Can anyone help me out here? I have a an area that could use a little freshening up.

Thanks in advance!

I read here that a product called black on black, or similar, worked well. Bought it, tried it, and did not notice any increased shine on my old 8-year old faded decals. My Maguires wax shines them as well as anything.

On my last RV we had the same problem with faded vinyl graphics and I could not bring them back to life. I tried different products and buffing but no luck.
I then took my heat gun and a plastic putty knife and heated the vinyl carefully and applied the heat. (Be especially careful next to fiberglass because you will ripple and warp it). They peeled right off but it took some time.
I then took a picture of all four sides of the RV and emailed them to my sign guy.
He worked his magic. Once he had my RV on his computer he could then make me any design, color, shape, etc. of whatever I wanted. Once we agreed on what I wanted he printed the graphics and applied them to the RV.
I never had a problem with them ever coming off. I believe the sun helped bake them on.
I was impressed. It made the RV look much better and also it increased the value.
Good luck.

You can also clean the silicone based protectants off as well as wax and repaint them in place. I used duplicolor automotive spray paint in cans. Holds up well and looks like new.

Do you mind sharing approximately how much it cost to get the new graphics made?
