Recieved an E Mail from Progressive stating:

For less than $1 a month, you can add Roadside Assistance and travel with confidence knowing we'll come to you with fuel, towing and other services if you need them.

And you can add Disappearing Deductibles for less than $1 a month, too! For every policy period you stay claims-free, your Comprehensive and Collision deductibles will be reduced by 25 percent. Stay claims-free for four policy periods in a row and you'll pay nothing!

Anyone have experiance with this raod side assistance? How could I go wrong at less than $1 a month?

I just renewed my policy with Progressive in December and Road Assistance was $32 for 12 months.

You should be asking your questions to Progressive. Not sure, but I don't think we have any Progressive agents as members who can answer your questions with authority.

I had Progressive roadside assistance. Needed it once and they did just fine. But I have upgraded to Coach-Net for more benefits (and more money of course)

We wern't happy with Progressive afer having them for several years and trying to use their roadside assist a couple of times...the key word here is "trying"..and recently went back to Good Sams.

We have had zero issues with Good Sams roadside service over the past 20 years..and we were highly impressed with their compassion and supurb service when we totalled our poor Jayco and Expedition.

What are the exclusions and limitations for roadside service from Progressive??? Without knowing that there is no way I could say I would have it as a primary source of roadside services…but I would have to say at a $1 a month its at least a good backup… my insurance has it included for free, but its not my primary source either…

I think Progressive road side is done through Cross Country Motor Club if that helps any.

I've got it and used it twice in the past 18 months. Both times, they had someone there within about 45 minutes. One was to change a flat tire. the other needed to be towed on a flatbed wrecker. Neither cost me a dime, just a signature. Mine is $12 a year.

My teenage daughter was injured from being rear-ended in another county. The offender played along as this company played slimy hardball, using denial (in a rear-ender no less!) and delaying tactics, knowing that she was a student from another county. Ultimately, following medical treatment, therapy, and recovery, they ground her down to almost nothing, knowing the hardship of an honor student staying out of town for a trial. I wouldn't do business with them, ever, even if their insurance was free of charge... Just one man's opinion.
