My teenage daughter was injured from being rear-ended in another county. The offender played along as this company played slimy hardball, using denial (in a rear-ender no less!) and delaying tactics, knowing that she was a student from another county. Ultimately, following medical treatment, therapy, and recovery, they ground her down to almost nothing, knowing the hardship of an honor student staying out of town for a trial. I wouldn't do business with them, ever, even if their insurance was free of charge... Just one man's opinion.
Why would it make a difference if the accident was in another county? State and federal laws still apply don't they? Was Progressive your insurer or the other persons?

Think he left a r out of county, making it Country.

But then tplife's post still has nothing to do with Road Side Assistance, does it. And when in another country, you have to make sure all your "i"s are dotted, and "t"s are crossed when it comes to automative insurance. You have to even make sure your insurance is good there too!!!

There's a lot missing with the story besides an "r"!.

*If* he means country why would Progressive be involved no matter who had them as the ins agency?.

*If* he means county - which is more logical - who had the Progressive Insurance?.

Since his sig indicates "People's Republik of Kalifornia" - he's on another planet - or is a California basher in California - and should move ASAP!.

Folks, I'm an attorney in So Cal, and to the OP, that's the way all insurance companies operate, not just Progressive. The OP should have had an attorney IMO for this one, especially if injuries were serious. Trying to settle a serious injury case on your own is a very bad idea IMO.

Having said that, we have Progressive insurance for the trailer and their ERS is through a third party, coachnet or one of the others.

Does the Progressive ERS cover RV issues? Will they tow your trailer as well as your TV?

We've had it since we bought the MH in '06 and needed it twice. Both times they came through and did exactly what we needed.

we have progressive Insurance and ERS
we used them yesterday
the rep on the phone was pleasant and helpful and found out where we could get service on our cumins engine and then had us towed there covering the complete charge
the truck came over 50 miles from flagstaff then towed us to Prescott almost 60 miles
it took maybe 90 minutes from the call until the tow arrived "big rig", and he knew his business and was fast and courteous "AM/PM TOWING" from Flagstaff

I hate being broke down but so far the people involved have been great
ers and service people
