You can also contact a dealer and ask about consignment. Drop it on their lot, they sell and take a cut. IMO one of the easiest methods and risk free but at a cost.

Do you have "Thrifty Nickle" papers in your area? We also have what we call local "shopper" papers in our area that have news and classifieds in them for surrounding areas.

We sold a trailer with PPL in Houston. They got more for it than I would've in my driveway, and in two weeks too. What I had to pay them was made up for in the extra they got for the trailer.

I would say that if you aren't willing to invest the time in getting familiar with online selling such as the Trader, RVT, eBay etc, then your best bet would be consignment with a dealer. Yes they take a cut but you are paying for convenience and no-hassling with buyers directly.

I sold my 1998 33ft. National RV Dolphin through Craigslist here in Ventura County, CA. Had four (4) honest, interested parties, and sold to #3.
Most communities also have local papers that advertise at very reasonable rates. Here in SoCal we have the PennySaver and The Acorn (various communities).
If you have a high end Class A Diesel, you mat want to consider some of the online RV sales sites like, RVT.com, RVOnline.com, etc. All can be found online by searching for "RV Sales".
Hope this helps.
Happy Trails!

We sold our last 2 motorhomes on Craigslist very quickly (one of them was in one day), and got our asking price both times.

I suggest you contact a local dealer in your area to discuss consigning the RV. They are better equipped to market your coach. If you are not into the internet or worry about scammers, this may be the best way.

IMHO, you are wasting your time and money if you invest in any of the internet sale sites. All they brought me were scams and e-mails from wholesalers who claimed they could sell my MH if I would just subscribe to their service. I sold my last motorhome by advertising in the local newspaper and putting "FOR SALE" signs on the vehicle.
