thanks for all of the good advice- i'm dumb where is and what does a diode look like- i'm trying to follow the wire from the toad connector back to the right turn bulb but hard to follow.
to trnfla: good idea- my wife says I just go in circles anyway.
Slide down a little on this site. Diodes are about 1 inch square, about 3/8 thick with three wires. Blue ox diodes look very much the same.
The diodes maybe in trunk area or behind tailight assembly. Roadmaster

Just take the tail light assembly out or the panel covering it on the inside if there is one. Chasing ghost wires can be impossible. Skip all the imbetween stuff because it is not really important unless it is broken and then you can just run a new one if necessary using the old one as a tag line. Of course that is impossible if it is a ribbon type wire.
thanks for the info about the diodes. checked and they aren't behind the tail light assemblys.
enblethen_ thanks for the site from roadmaster showing the pix of diodes and as I read the page I realize that I'm way out of my league- when the saturn dealer wired the car to be towed with the roadmaster even brake system, he gave me back a package of something and said he did'nt need it- wrong! it was the brake switch thing mentioned in the roadmaster article. so in addition to the taillight problem i now realize I probably have any turnsignals when braking. so since the saturn dealer closed, I will go somewhere and get it all reconfigured. Thanks to everyone for the help.
