My TT is 15 years old, I have owned it for 10 years, how often should i repack the bearings, its never been done. Is it something I need to do?

You should do it yearly. Take one apart and get new seals at NAPA or other good auto parts store.

Absolutely should be done! I repack every 3 years, but a have a newer trailer with EZ lube hubs. I am checking them every few months. If you don't know what size seals you have, you wil have to pull one apart and bring the parts with you to the store.

Of course, depending on your usage, "yearly" might not be necessary.
Certainly if they haven't been serviced in 10 years...get it done....7 years ago.

You only need to do them if you plan to move it, LOL. Be sure to also check tires DOT code for age!

I don't know, I never kept one that long, but if I did, I'd check them now.

Agreed, easy too do, might even have a fitting for the grease. Annually is suggested..

Thanks, I did all the bearings, the bearins from the two font tires were in need of greese more than the back. The job was pretty easy.

What is the difference between the wheel bearings on a tt and a car or tv? How often do you do the bearings on your tv?
