This may be the least expensive way to go. Do you have him well insured?

ok all. Just walked outside to the trailer to ask husband for update. He said he has tested everything and the outlets and breakers are working. Just not the microwave, refrig, and air conditioning. lights and outlets are working. we have an electrician that lives next door but not at home right now. Was just hoping to hear that this was something that can be fixed quickly and less painfully.

Call your insurance agent. This should be covered. New capacitors on the AC might fix it. It is often next to impossible to replace the heating element on the fridge. You might need to replace the entire coolong unit. Time to take it to a pro.

we are waiting for our neighbor the electrician to get home. He isn't messing with it anymore. We just purchased the trailer thursday. We have full coverage insurance on it but I don't know if this would be covered. but something to check into.

Pardon me for yelling, but it's been pointed out already that
YOU CAN'T GET A 110/120v PLUG INTO A 220-240v OUTLET!!!!!
Did he hardwire it, or what??????

OK folks, cut the OP some slack. I think the old style 240 volt drier and stove outlets could easily be used with a 120 VAC trailer plug. Remember those sockets guys?
NEW 240 VAC sockets are 4-wire, but old ones were 3-wire.
Hope dameage isn't too great. Note there are a few folks every year that plug a 120 VAC TT into 240 VAC, so don't feel too alone on that. Even electricians have done it!

Well said!
The OP has not answered my questions from my first reply. I'am only left to assume that the TT just happened to parked under a utilty pole that happens to have a female RV recepticale, that happens to wired wrong. By the way, could the OP describe the breaker that is in your home that is feeding this outlet. Take a picture of the breaker and the outlet on the pole and post it.
