I'm looking at 2 electric jack's for our tt.
1st one is a Ultra tow 3000 lb
2nd one is a Trailerstar 3500 lb
Are these brands of electric jacks any good?
Anybody using one of these?

Thank you

The Ultra Tow looks exactly like the Ultra Fab. I have UF3500, I wish I would have installed it 4 years ago.

I don't know that there is any data that Barker is Top of the line but it seemed it had the most positive comments and people guiding me towards one back when I went looking for a powerjack. I'm sure there are others that are fine jacks also. I have a Barker 3500VIP and like it very much.

My Atwood has worked well for 5 years. I don't know anything about the two the OP is asking about. Money well spent.

I have had three Atwoods over the past 20 years or so and never had a single problem with any of them. I would consider them "top of the line".

Someone decided to delete my question to "MIDNIGHTSADIE" who said that 'barker is top of the line , don,t have any info on the other brands.' All I did was ask to provide the supporting information to back up his claim.

Just looking to get supporting information on "MIDNIGHTSADIE" claim.

I have no clue if Barker is the best of the best. What I do know is this. From all my reading, the Barker almost always got good to great reviews. Not so much the other brands.

Also, I do know that Barker's are made here in the USA. I decided for once to play a little more for a USA made product rather than a Chinese made product.

Also, from what I could tell, almost all other tongue jacks are made in China.

The Atwood jacks are all made in China, except for the very latest addition to their line up. Their latest addition is made here.

UltraFab makes jacks for a lot of other people under whatever brand name they wish. I have also seen a lot of refurbished UltraFabs on the market. To me, that is a warning sign.

In all of the discussion of the Barker's I have not seen where someone has had a problem with one.

I just installed the 3500 pound Atwood. Too early to tell how it will be over the long haul. I can tell you this . . . the thing is fast and very powerfull. It doesn't slow down when lifting the TT with 1100 pounds of tongue weight and the back of the Crew Cab long bed diesel 4x4 that is loaded to a weight of 7800 pounds.
