From TN, you can swing north through Indiana and Ohio's Amish country. Good eats there and some very nice people too. Lehman's Nonelectric store is always worth a stop. I've found some good gadgets there for the RV. 4779 Kidron Road, Dalton, OH 44618

Then go east through Western PA for some more nice people and countryside, perhaps a stop at Niagara Falls?

Slab City. If you have an AC in your RV you'll be real popular there. Hee Hee. I have never been north of Albany NY, so New England sounds nice.

If you have many months, drive up to Niagara Falls, cross into Canada, go to Nova Scotia and be a tourist for a month or two. Then drive down to Maine and see the east coast. Don't miss Boston, Washington DC, Williamsburg, Yorktown. Then there is Chincoteague Island with the wild horses.

New England then on to the Maritimes. Drive through Maine to New Brunswick and Fundy National Park, down into Nova Scotia for Peggy's Cove and Halifax then the Cabot Trail to Cape Breton. Cross over into Prince Edward Island next.......

I guess I am lucky!
I have been to everywhere mentioned,
and many more.
If the OP has a passport,
my recommendation is to follow the St Lawrence river from the Thousand Islands around to the bridge to PEI.
Much better trip than the Pacific Coast Highway,
(In my opinion)
Life is short,Death is long,
Take a vacation.

Stay far away from the George Washington bridge in NYC. Take the Tappan Zee bridge instead.

I was going to say to go to Wichita Falls and turn left but you probably have already been there hehe...
Mix your camping into something else like panning for gold maybe... Something that is outdoors where you can use the RV trailer to support it. Running Jeep trails is another thing that the two go hand in hand with.
Here in Virginia they are opening up the old gold veins that ran down the Blue Ridge and Appachian mtns..
I have been wanting to go do some digging up bones from our family tree that started for us in Missouri. We can go back several generations to Missouri but can connect from there to VIRIGINA and other east coast entry points where most all of us come from. My name is very strong in GA and SC areas but I cant find where we broke off to head out west.
It must be real tough losing your best friend...
My Posts are IMHO based on my experiences - PM me
