My advice, don't use your on board RV air system, don't get a 12 V compressor and don't get a 120V compressor with less than 150#. You will be disappointed. They are all inadequate for pressures over 100#. Been there done that.

I have a porter cable pancake compressor that goes to 150 lbs, and fast. Got mine from Lowes about 5 years ago and still going strong. And mine has been used alot to run nail guns. Came with hose and some acessories.

I have the same compressor, and have used it for about three years. Works just fine.
I first purchased a 12V unit that worked, but did not have a lot of volume; pressure OK, but lacked volume.
The 110V Porter Cable is a much better unit for less money.

Currie and ARB or Old Man Emu (same thing is sold under both names) are 12V compressors that will work. I had one in my previous bus...bulletproof (the Curries are tough enough the military uses them) and effective. Neither is cheap new (I got mine used), but either will be the last 12V compressor you will ever need!

Sorry; didn't realize Boyle's law had been updated in the last 5 years.
