for the helpful advice and listening ears. It looks like for right now I'm going to end up being a janitor for a while.
Here's where I need some help. Is anyone else a janitor or knows of someone in the cleaning industry? I am looking for tips on being a better janitor along with websites with cleaning tips.
Caring about your job helps, even if (or especially if) you don't like it. It already sounds like you are the type to take pride in doing a good job.
I don't know about tips as I only had 1 janitorial job for about 6 months, but I will say strongly - make sure you know the effects of any chemicals you use and take the recommended safety precautions. They can have serious health effects both short term and long term if handled improperly.
t-train, I applaud your Work Ethic and your Attitude. I always took
the Attitude when working for someone in the Private Sector to do everything
in my Power to Ensure that they turned a Profit. I believe that in ANY
Relationship whether it be Personal or Professional, it is better to focus
outward rather than inward and not be Self-Centered. I was there to help them make Money. Incidentally, I wound up being the top Paid Person in that Position
because the Boss knew I was there for him, not for me. For one thing,
if he cannot turn a Profit, nobody there would have had a Job, including me.
So I was helping my Boss and I was also helping everyone who worked there.
I learned that what is important in Life is not what you get. What is Important is what you give! My Mother and Father along with many others taught me that.
I have had many Positive People who have had a wonderful Influence on my Life.
