I had ordered some finials to top off my gates.
They finally came in and fit quite nicely.
I do however feel a bit ripped off.
$29 worth of finials and $49 for shipping and handling?
I never get lost! Someone always tells me where to go!

those are nice. anything with weight costs alot to ship but $49. hmmm
there are like 23-24 finials. those were cheap.
something seems way off on that pricing LOL
are they plastic and you got robbed on shipping????

Very nice !!
I am sure those finials were heavy...that could account for most of the shipping costs.

They are there and you like it....so that should be it,don't think about being ripped off just enjoy it.

Would you feel better if the finial cost $49 and shipping was $29? If so....think of it that way.
If I buy something on the www and they want to process my payment info before they quote shipping, I back out of the deal.
I have...very rarely...paid $50 for a less than 1 pound spring for over night shipping. I did need it by the next day. And knew I was paying $50 before completing the deal.

Seems like sellers are low balling the product but padding the shipping. Make it look like their stuff is well priced but the shipping company is a rip off. I just worry about total cost most of the time.

I would say if they quoted you one price and charged you another, you have every right to feel ripped off. However if you knew what the price was and agreed to it, then I don't see how you could feel ripped off.
If you paid the price without knowing what the shipping was, then you should feel foolish not ripped off.

With the Cost of Fuel these days the Shipping Companies are also feeling Ripped Off!
I love these TV Commercials for various Bargains that will send You Not One but Two of whatever.......Just Pay Shipping and Handling Charges!

I knew what I was paying when I ordered them, including the S&H.
They are plastic and weight next to nothing.
DW wanted them so I must pay the piper ;-)
