Might help if you told us what camper you are talking about.

We have had our quad bunk house trailer for since 2002. It has served our three boys very well and now that they are all grown the DW uses the area as her own personal dressing room.

We have a 28ft Dutchmen hssl BH. Double bottom bunk , narrow top bunk. Works great for us. Slideout gives us more room and it has a nice counter top L shape kitchen for coffee pot knife block etc.

We love our Keystone Bullet 281BHS with double corner rear bunks top and bottom. Both bunks have windows on the side and in the rear with the top bunk also having a skylight---lots of light coming in the camper in the rear which has reminded us of our old Hybrid TT when we had the bunks open on nice days in the back. The bathroom also has its own exterior door which we are liking more and more.

We have a 2009 Jayco G2 31BHS, this was the last year they made this floorplan. Four beds in the back with a queen in the front. The beds in the back foldup so you can store stuff while traveling. We love it but currently it's forsale as we would like to move up to a 5th wheel.

I just picked this up. Have not had it out yet, but it fits our needs pretty good.

I think you might like the Rockwood 2601S.

I found this tool helpful in the past. Using the tool, I found this one which is pretty different but very reasonable behind an expedition or 1500 suburban.

I LOVE the one we have although the company dropped it from their lineup. Prime Time has been there to answer all of our questions and bent over backwards to make sure we're satisfied customers.

Then he changed it, before it just said

"Overstating the Obvious rarely helps the Oblivious!"

But hey at least we now know what he is talking about.

So here is the deal. You are looking at a 1500 suburban to tow this with (as per your several other posts). No matter how many different ways you ask this question, your limitations will still be the same. Some of the TT's listed in this thread might work for you and some will probably be too heavy for you.

What we found was the most helpful to us when shopping for a TT for our family was to go to shows and look around at several different floorplans at one time. We would take notes, get brochures and come home. We would turn this info into a spreadsheet. Across the top would be important features to us (ie type of bunks, # of bunks, size of tanks, weight of TT, tongue weight, couch, etc) down the side we would list the various makes/models that peaked our interest. When we narrowed it down some using the spreadsheet (the TT's that had the most of what we wanted in our weight range), we would go sit in them at the dealer as a family with the doors closed. In the TT we would each act out daily activities (ie I would pretend to cook, DD would play, and DH would sit on the sofa and walk to the bathroom). We would think about where we would put things (ie mom's clothes in that cabinet, pots & pans in this cabinet, kids toys in that drawer etc). These helped us narrow it down to our perfect trailer. The perfect trailer will be different for each family's situation (ie # kids, how much they pack, what they tow it with and how they plan to use the TT).

All that said, we love our Zinger ZT26BL (not the right bunk plan for you) and they have a ZT26BH model that is 30 ft but the GVWR is 7800 lbs and only has a dry weight of 6800 lbs so it may or may not be ok to be towed by a suburban and you will be tight on cargo capacity. I think their Slingshot GT29BH might be a better match than the zinger for you. It has a dry weight of 4032 and a GVWR of 7432 lbs. I highly doubt you will load 3000 lbs of gear into that trailer. A more realistic # is 1500 lbs (average camper loads this) giving it a loaded weight of 5532 lbs. Length is 29'11". Hope this helps you.
