Need to replace two broken Bargman running lights. The old ones have the base center hole with the two + wires. These have the square base with the 3 sides.(1993 Sunlite) The new ones do not. Doubt if I can buy the original to make life easier. No room to pull both wires through. Possible to cut a short + lead, splice and run that through. Any one with a better idea? Different manufacture?

I'm not getting the picture...I replaced all my Bargman runners a couple of years ago, in my case with LED's. The new lights have two wires, just like the old ones.
Forgive my density, but- what's the question, exactly?

That's what I was wondering. I replaced all of mine with LEDs as well. Mine were "Truck-Lite" brand though.

Thought someone might have run into the same problem. The Al.trim where the light mounts has a center hole that two + wires come through. The new base is a different configuration that blocks that center hole. I could squeeze a spliced wire throught but I don't want to do any wiring. Any suggestions? Thought someone might suggest a different light with a center hole. I can't find the old style on the internet.

Drill, baby, drill!
Always a good solution when the holes don't match.
I know some places that supply replacement parts for older units- if you post a pic or part name/number, I might be able to tell you where to find replacements that fit better.
I see another problem, though...GROUND!
Your description of "two + wires " leads me to think you're talking about in-and-out connections for lights in the same series.
I'll bet your old lights relied for ground by way of their attachment to the unit- is that right? Since mine's a fiberglass unit, ground was originally supplied by connection to the trailer ground system, which made my changeout easier since most newer lights all ground that way.

Francesca you nailed it.The two wires carry the + to all the lamps. They connect together and provide 12v to the light at the center hole. The ground is made by a rivet that holds the base to the Al channel. Problem is that the hole in the channel is blocked by this Bargman knockoff. The package is labled Bargman 34-99-001 made by CEQUENT El. That IS a Bargman number. The link, sqip2000, I looked at but it is not the same base. I looked at today Products I'll try NAPA tomorrow. If not I can drill another hole just for the wire.

I think I'm getting the picture- does the back of the new light look like the one at this link?
Sounds like you've already bought your replacements, but....there's a single-wire version here that grounds the same way as the ones you're replacing. (See video at that link)
And it's got LED's, which I think is a real improvement for markers.

Yes that is the one Francesca and that is what I bought. To match the two holes needed to wire that one I made a template with paper thin alunimum using the existing mounting holes as reference. I needed the template to mark new holes and drill for the wires. Done!
