I had two Honda 2000 watt generators with a paralel kit, but unfortunately have lost both in a storage garage fire. Thank God for insurance.
My question is this. Should I stick to the dual units, or go with a single 3000 watt unit. I have a TT with a single AC and am thinking that this may be all I need. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. I notice that the EU 3000is has a higher output than the other 3000 watt unit. By the way, I am a big Honda fan. I will probably go back to Honda, although my son in law works for Yamaha.
If you don't use it to run the AC a lot, but run it for other things a lot, the 2000s will be cheaper to run because you will only need to run one of them most of the time. Also easier to move. But it is more of a pain to setup two of them and more maintenance having two of them.

X2, btw if my SIL worked for Yamaha, I would go with Yamaha if the SIL could get a better deal as an employee. Honda and Yamaha are both very good and you can't go wrong with either brand.
Dont forget how much a 3000W Honda weighs. Pretty much for one person to get up into the truck bed. You can move two 2000W Honda with ease. Also two 2KW Hondas will have more usable power than a single 3KW Honda will have. That extra 600 or more usable watts may be your savings grace on a camping trip...

I'd say stick with the 2000's.
I have 3 Honda's 3500,5000,and 6500is.
Wouldn't want to wrestle any one of the three in and out of a pickup on a regular basis.
If generator power is needed I bring it along in this behind the 5er.
We have a Yamaha 2800 as a spare and emergency for the house and are very pleased with it. If it were me, I would go for the Yamaha 2400 and yes, it will run one AC very easy.
