I was up on the roof this morning installing my Wingman on the antenna and happened to notice that there was a big opn spot at the corner of the trailer where the caulk had either come off or wasnt sealed correctly from the factory. This is a brand new 2013 trailer. Luckily it is stored inside when not in use but we did camp in a good rainstorm last time out. Im sure water got inside as its a big gap but Im hoping it wasnt much. Check those new campers

I think if it was a stick it would have some other damage or maybe a dent in the metal underneath. I dont know. I think it looks like it was an airpocket under the caulk that busted. That would explain why the edges look like they were blown out, not in. Who knows.

Wow- that actually looks like somebody did it on purpose!

I'd show that to the dealer you bought the rig from if I were you...

And by the way, I'd sure check the caulking on the rest of the rig- from the other caulks I see in the pic, it looks like somebody turned my two-year-old grandson loose with a caulk gun!

good catch!

looks like some off-gassing from something due to heat, may have caused the "blowout"

I had two screws on my roof where they put sealant, but they missed....badly

Personally, I will NEVER own another flat roofed trailer. Next one will have a definite crown. JMHO

Mine is crowned but of course it just so happens the hole was right near the edge. Do they even make trailers that arent crowned anymore

That's a weird defect. Never have seen anything like that. I hope you didn't get any water damage in your ceiling....
