I would really like some sort of awning over our door on our TC. May have to just end up putting on a awning bracket (the thing the rope goes in) and either keep putting the awning on & off or cobb-ulate some sort of short "bag awning" because I have a pop-up. But some others may have found a better idea.
So..... throw some ideas at me and show some pics of your rig's awnings please!

NavigatorC130A,
I have a large canopy/small camper on the back of my truck that we sleep in when not pulling the trailer.
For an awning, I have a large tarp that attaches to the rear roof rack (Yakama) with several clips that are held to the tarp with shock cord. To provide a bit more cover and better utilize the width of the tarp, each rack is extended by about 16" with a couple pieces of steel tubing when needed for the tarp. I then support the other end of the tarp with a couple poles that are either guyed to the ground or to nearby tres/bushes.
Not fancy, but works great and the price was right.
No pictures because I don't want to go set up just for that reason.

I use this because I like being able have multi-use, rather than dedicated to TC only...

Here is our awning - made by Fiamma

The legs you see on the ground don't really work right like that, so I usually angle them back and wedge them against the rear lights of the camper - if sitting on the ground like in the picture the awning is angled downwards too much and you can't close the door
Rolls up by hand and zips into a bag attached to the back of the camper roof. A bit awkward to use since there is nothing supporting the awning as you unroll it, until you get the legs in place (2 pairs - one to tension it against the back of the camper, the other to keep it up.
This picture shows it zipped into its bag:

In truth we don't use it much, since we usually move the camper during the day (since we don't de-mount the camper when travelling), and it makes it a pain to keep rolling the thing up and putting it away each morning, especially if it is wet.

I don't have any pics of the rear awning when out but it is a crank out that is fully supported at the mounting over the door. I will try to remember to take a pic and post it. It is a full cantilever awning.

I was going to suggest Carefree Truckin awning but due to yours is a pop top wouldnt work due to support arms. They do make a bag awning for pop up tent trailers..

Looks like that might work if the width can be obtained.

Mine is this type: http://www.carefreeofcolorado.com/carefr........ction=product&productid=40&categoryid=46
It can be adjusted for height and also for the angle from the wall. It is a manually cranked out model. I will have to look at it and see what the model number is.

The CareFree products look great, but their website is wacked. There seems to be no way to order nor do they give any pricing.

Carefree products are available at most RV stores. They do not sell direct.

Oh yea I shoulda remembered carefree site- manf.-this is what I use http://www.rvawningsonline.com. Show all products, sizing, pricing (dont know how they compare)colors etc. (from the carefree site you can download/view installation manuals etc.)
The truckin; awning is what we have nice for getting in/out, door open when raining etc but not really shade awning for setting under. Again dont think it would work on pop up. The p/u trailer one is what I though might work but looks like narrowest stock is 8'6 wide-lil pricy but would work-might call?
