Hubby and I are heading to the Eastern Shore of VA and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on restaurants for us to try out. Any town between Cape Charles and Chincoteague is fine. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

There are 2 decent places in Cape Charles. One is downtown in an old bank building, think it's called The Pub. Just past Watson's Hardware on the right. The other one is on the north side in the new golf course neighborhood. Right on the water. Little pricey. Wachapreague probably has the best one in the area, the chef fron the Eastville Inn is there now. Haven't been to the Eastville Inn since he moved on, but imagine that it is still very good. Bill's in Chincoteague, there are many others there as well. Not sure what is in Exmore since the Trawler closed but there has to be some, just not sure what. Have fun and enjoy your visit.

Tammy & Johnny's in Melfa for fried chicken. Not enough space for RV parking.

Sting Rays just a mile or so north of Kiptopeke State Park.

X2 for Sting Ray's. We haven't been there for about 7 years but Sting Ray's used to be excellent. Got pretty crowded after 5 pm.

T and J's is more fast food very slowly than anything else. Stingray's is in a Exxon Station and is highly over rated. The place has changed hands, and the result was less than spectacular. If those are the type places we are looking for at a particular meal time, I would pick one of the Sage Dinners in Onley or Exmore.
