The Tundra and Titan are (IMHO) worthy to stand with ANY of the Detroit three 1/2-tons.
That said, contrary to all the Kool-aid drank on the Ridge forums, the Ridge is a joke (for towing). It can't even accomodate a WDH??? The box is about the size of a shoe box and most importantly, it's as ugly as a can of smashed apples. The sales numbers show a steady decline since 2005 and no surprise, Honda is discontinuing the Ridge in the near future.

LOL. I didn't realize the Ridgeline had such low tow ratings. 5k!! That's just awful. I just bought a new Ram and clearly didn't even check out the Ridgeline because of it's absolutely HIDEOUS looks. It's one of the ugliest vehicles on the road IMO. Hence, since I didn't look at them I didn't realize they had a small SUV's tow rating.
But yes, I see ppl towing ridiculous combos all the time. Before I had a TT I wouldn't have known any better, but now that I know I see at least 1 or 2 totally unsafe combos every camping trip. It's funny when you see the huge V shape and the driver just white knuckling it going about 40 MPH down the highway. I mean, it's funny, but also dangerous. I have to believe these ppl aren't TRYING to be dangerous, so they must just be uneducated (like I was at one point).

Toyota and Honda, as TV's, may just need thier own forum page.
Seriously getting old. The Honda, agreed, is not a real truck. It's a pilot with the back cut off. Don't know how you can group the Tundra in the same caregory. The current Tundra is a 6 year old design and still matches or beats the "domestics" in comparisons. Even the V8 4Runner is a great tow vehicle with a 7000lbs tow rating. Did it for many years without issue.
