This question can be answered a lot of ways. Is the OP using a trailer, motorhome, tent trailer, a tent just off a road by the car, or hiking it with a tent?
If I were hiking it 3-4 miles into nowhere, my equipment list would be drastically different from what I would be tossing into my travel trailer for a weekend at a FHU campsite.
i'm suspicious also. the OP has made quite a few posts, offering advice on a number of Camping/RV'ing issues and has a link to a commercial camping website and yet, is now posting as a first-time camper.
Yeah, here is one post

TOWELS, TOWELS and TOWELS!!! Did I mention TOWELS? Sweat mopping, foot wiping, oops cleanups, shading from the sun, wet or dry, I have never had too many...just sayin'

Why didn't we do this sooner ?!?!?
For camping I always take a sort of first air kit and by that I mean a good general purpose kit along with extras like immodium, tick removing tool, bug repellant, aspirin, etc. as I do not want to be taking time to stop and buy these items while away from the house. I also take snack foods so we do not have to stop and fix something on the stove or stop at the local fat food places on the road in getting to and from a camping spot.
Think also about activities for your kids, which can include card or board games, fishing tackle, and other items to keep them preoccupied.
