Is there any reason that I can not relocate my rooftop AC unit to the front of the trailer, it is currently located at the highest point of the trailer and won't fit into my current storage area. JH

If you can move the wiring then I don't think it will be a problem, they don't reinforce the vents they put the AC in anyway - they're all built the same.

IF it is not ducted only the wiring should be an issue.

I agree with the posters above. As long as it is not a ducted unit, I see no reason you could not relocate and rewire it if you have another vent opening to put it in.
Another option might be to remove it and replace it with a new low profile unit. I know Dometic makes a low profile air conditioner that is only 9.5 inches high. It is called the Penguin. There are links to other manufacturers there also.

Other than the hole in the roof, it should be ok.

Check the install specs for your model- most cannot be installed nose down.

May add a few pounds to your tongue weight, but you can counter that by tossing something in the back of equal weight.

As Chris said, nose down can have issues depending on the model.
Yours looks like a Coleman(Airxcel). I had a factory installed nose down of one of these and they forgot to drill out the 2 3/8" holes in the front of the pan as the instructions require for nose down. I had water coming into the unit during a big rain. I drilled them out and it is fine now.

The 14x14-Inch hole for the air conditioner is the same size hole used for the Fantastic Fan mount so keep that in mind. Maybe you can install the fantastic fan in the same hole the air conditoner was removed from.
I almost suspect your trailer has built in foam ducts that line up with the present air conditioner install points. You will have to re-arrange that to work for you somehow.
There are some trailers that have the air conditioners mounted in the side of the trailer. The ALINER is one model that does that. Mounting in the side panels might allow you to use a regular air conditioner like from Lowes. You will most likely lose out air conditioner performance moving from the original spot. Mounting on the side or front/rear ends will require working around already installed cabinets or maybe lose the use of a window.
Forget about using a window for all the support it will need. This will have to be installed sitting on a solid frame of some sort with the back of the air conditioner extending outside of the trailer an couple of inches. The rest of it will be extending inside the trailer maybe inside a cabinet or something.
This will put some extra noise inside the trailer as well I would imagine.
You might be better off re-designing your storage facility.
Interesting project...
