I just ordered enough LED's to fit the entire camper.
Are you sure all the bases are the same?

Every thing I've looked at has the same bulbs. I've also seen people use the same fixtures I purchased and they have the same camper as me so I'm assuming I'm good to go. The fixtures I got also have 3 different plugs to fit different sockets.

I replaced all the bulbs in our trailer last summer with the exact same LEDs. Do not have much time on them yet but so far they work as advertized. The light is bright, cool and is just about the same color as the old bulbs.

I've been running LEDs for a couple of years and have had several die due to overheating. The first was a 350 Lumin Starlight LED which just quit after all yellow LEDs became brown. The second was a 'Chinese' LED which slowly dimmed (have 2 more doing the same thing) due to browning/heat.

I left for camping last Thursday and wouldn't you know it, my LED's arrived that day only I had left already!

Anyway, I tried a few of them. I put on over my sink and 2 in my bathroom. I'd say the two in the bathroom are about the same brightness as the 2 old incandescent bulbs. I haven't actually used the tape to mount the panels onto my fixtures yet. Right now I kind of have them balancing on top of their socket so it's pretty close to the effect I would get if they were attached to the fixture itself.

They are just as bright as the stock bulbs. The stock bulbs give off a yellow tint. These LED's give off a white tint. They also seem to give off almost as much heat as my incandescent bulbs. I found this surprising. I can't comment on the energy savings because I don't have the tools.

I wouldn't say the heat was the same as incandescent, but I was surprised at how much heat there is.
As far as the tape. Don't bother. I even replaced that tape with 3m double sided. I ended up using a very small dab of construction adhesive. Been over a year since I'm using these, no problems yet.

And did you check the recall notice to see if it applied to them?

What recall notice is that? The one referenced in this thread? If so, that's a completely different bulb/situation, with bulbs that are generally for household lighting. These bulbs above are automotive in nature.
