Hi All
2 questions
1995 Fleetwood Flair Class A
#1
What are they called in the front springs the air bladder? Where do I get them? Or should I go with new springs? Remember when we were kids we put spacer blocks in front springs tp raise front of car? Well would these worl on front of MH?

#2
My steps do not work checked it out motor works fine but the linkage going from the motor to the step is broken, E-Mailed All Rv Parts and they tell me pre 2004 they switched and I have to buy complete new modifed unit at $219.00 plus shipping, question is do any of you know where I can just get the linkage? It is the 26 series. Pardon any spelling errors as spell ck. wont work for me, and I am not to bright in the spelling dept.

Thanks in advance
Dennis

Air bags go in front springs 1000 series airlifts.
That price you may want to get complete step.

Assuming you have the P30 chassis, Firestone has a lifetime warranty. They are Firestonr Ride-Rite model #4100 and retail for less than $90. for the complete set. Many auto parts stores carry them or you can find them online by searching for "firestone air bags".
Replacing the spring is one option, but they need to be matched to the suspension load, there are 5 possible spring compression ratings.
Forget the spacers unless you you can live with a ride like on a skateboard.

Cant help with the linkage, I will see what I can locate. You might try "rv serplus".

Thanks in advance

1. You can get the Airlift 1000s from J.C. Whitney, under $100.
Search the forum for "air bags". Lots of posts on the easy way to change them out yourself. Soaking in hot water makes it easy.
2. Steps, post a picture of the broken part, you may be able to get it welded.
