Where is Colorado mentioned? there's only one in the world that's near a beach and that's not Colorado

You will have a blast. IF you take enough groceries to be able to stay in the CG, and not go out. You can avoid most of the crowds. Every thing you need is inside the CG, From the shows at the amphitheater, to mini golf, and yes even ice cream.
Take her bike. She can ride for days.. there is no way not to enjoy the beach.

Stclairm. We are heading to lakewood tomorrow also. Leaving at lunch time. I grew ip going there and now take our 2yr old and 2 month old. We are going to be with another couple in the 1200 block. Stop by. We love lakewood for the variety of sites and lower number of golf cars.
