I use a pair of 6v golf cart batteries and I know the debate over my setup vs. multiple 12v setups have set off lengthy discussions here. If you're interested in the latter, I came across a decent battery sale going on at sears.com. Looks like they're 12v "marine" and "marine/RV". Not sure if they are "true" deep cycles, but looked like a good deal. They have a 105AH size 27 for $40 each.

Wow, that was quick. I checked several of the others too and now they look to be sold out. Most were available about 30 minutes ago. Oh, well. I found this deal on one of the popular web deal sites where good deals tend to go away quickly sometimes.

Yep called local store and the guy said kinda.. it was to get people (rv & boaters)in but the only ONES IN STORE ARE $100+.. I have a question also what about the ones at wally world..(i.e. Everstart size 24, 27 or 29) as I will mostly camp with power or Generator. I would think these would work just fine for me ????????? Any thoughts or advise..

Never had any luck with Everstart, or NAPA, or Autozone batteries. Real happy with Interstate RV batteries.
