It never fails. you're settling in for the evening and have the lights on. Who shows up - flying insects of all sizes that got in during the day. You could get out the flyswatter and squish them leaving a black mark. OR - get out the lint roller. They don't seem to view this as a threat and generally stay put. Simply roll over them lightly and they stick to the roller leaving no marks on the white ceiling. You can also roll it around the lights to get the tiny ones. Works great!! Fun too.

BTW: Amazon sells a 'fly shooter' which is a blast to use outside. It looks like a rubber band pistol but shoots a plastic mini flyswatter. The flys don't see it coming, it's that fast. I seems like once you shoot and kill several flys the others seem to get the message and go somewhere else. Kids will have a ball with this - you will too.

As one of the World's foremost proponents of the fly, and as the founder of the "Save the Fly" movement, as well as the best selling Author of "Fly's...we need to give them the right to co-exist with Humans"... (Available on Kindle Books) I find myself deeply offended about people here on the forum advocating rollering flys with lint rollers, shooting them with rubber band projectiles and even spraying them with toxic substances or (shudder!) smashing them!

Congressman Marvin Bean Counter, is the President of the "Save the Fly Society" and is currently trying to get Congress to ban the Senseless fly killings and instead mandate a Government program of posting any area you want to remain 'fly free' with Federally Approved signs.

And $30 billion dollars will be set aside to teach flys how to read...

Please help stamp this out!

My posts shouldn't be taken for factual data. They are purely fictional, for entertainment purposes and should not be constituted as actually related to scientific, technical, engineering, legal, spiritual or practical advice. Amen.
