We decided at the last minute to make reservations out at Calico Ghost Town for the holiday weekend because of the expected cool weather. Pulled our 2007 WW FS2600 out from the side today and noticed one of the tires with some small chunks out of it. Though the tread is still good on the other tires I suspect they could soon follow. These are the stock 15 inch tires that originally came on the TH.
Was thinking this might be a good time to change to 16 inch tires/wheels. So questions are:
1. Has anyone changed from 15 to 16s on one of these? It appears they should fit and I seem to recall that size being an option.
2. Any recommendations on what tires to get?
3. Any recommendations on where to get them at in the So. Cal. / OC area?

Not to be mean, but lots and lots of info on here about tires. Do a search and you will find it. But yes, you can go to 16" on that trailer.

If you can move to the 16" tires you may want to consider the Goodyear G rated ones, I have have good results with them. Hope you have a great trip.

If your trailer has 15" tire now you sure don't need a G load range 110 psi tire.
1. Folks have been changing tire sizes from 15" ST to 16" LT for years. Excellent upgrade.
2. Michelin XPS RIBs and Bridgestone R250, both are a all steel ply carcass commercial grade tire. IMO their tops if you can afford them.
Other good fabric carcass LT tires are;
Firestone Transforce HT
Uniroyal Lerado HD-H
BFG Commercial
Cooper SRM II
Goodyear Wranglers
All have at one time or another have been recommended by their manufacturer for use on a heavy trailer. Other folks may have their favorite brand LT tire that is recommended for trailer use.
3. Costco/Walmart can order them or a local truck tire dealer or regular tire dealer that can handle large vehicles.

Save some money and just get 15" maxxis. Thats we have on our 2006 FS2600 I haven't had a blowout with them (knock on wood). I just couldn't justify the extra cash to go to 16".

If it were me there is no doubt I would go 16 inch. Mush larger choice of tires is the biggest selling factor for me. With15 inch you are basically stuck with china bombs or Maxxis. And if you have a problem In some remote town the chances of finding Maxxis are next to nothing. Whereas finding a decent 16 inch is a pretty good bet.

16's would be great but for a FS2600 save your money and go with the E rated Maxxis......

Just looked at the Maxxis E rated 15 inch tires on their site, the chart indicates max psi of 80. Can most 15 inch wheels handle that increase? Currently my specs for the trailer indicate a max psi of 65.
Thanks for the input, it is very helpful.

You would have to check your wheels, But I pretty sure they are rated for 80psi.
