Hello fellow RV'ers. I have been lurking a very long time on this forum, but this is my first post asking for an opinion. My brother is thinking of buying a 2000 Tahoe 26 GT trailer manufactured by Thor. It is a 30 ft., tandem axle, no slide unit that appears to be in really nice condition. I think the dry weight is 5,110 lbs. My brother will use it for weekend trips and several week long stays. Outside of having new tires put on, etc., does anyone know anything about this unit? It will be pulled by a 1/2t pickup (F-150). Thank you in advance for any advise or comments.
just be sure to check for water damages and test all electrical/appliances as well as gas and plumbing, go around underside and sides of camper and push in by hand checking for soft floor, and step inside all areas of interior especially in corners for soft areas as well. Look on roof for broken vents or gaps in seams where water can get in
Thank you Mobilefleet for your response. Much appreciated. My brother went ahead and purchased the trailer. So hoping he has a good experience RVing. Thanks again.
