Sure is going to save some locals a lot of time and fuel getting 80 open again. It is hard to realize they did it so fast. The bridge is to be replaced but after 20 years it is still talk but it is now four lane leading to it on each side and the bridge is just a little over 1.5 lanes wide. We have just started folding in our mirror after loosing two when meeting semi rigs.

The replacement span was assembled at Eddyville Riverport, lifted on to barges, then moved to the site, and lifted into place.

So glad to see the bridge open. We spent a lot of time in LBL when we lived in Murray. Is the bison herd still there?

Still having fun!

It was there the last time I checked.

The bridge is narrow but highly used for local/regional traffic. Cadiz to Murray became a pain with no bridge.
