I had some on my interior wall paper and wiped it down with some peroxide. Came rtight off. JMHO

I used Goop the white hand cleaner in the round tub to get rust off of Gel Coat siding. I would try it on the aluminum. You could also check out Iron Out it can be used on houses that have been sprayed by sprinklers. Read the label.

Re CLR
Just spray it on and sponge it off. Takes rust off vinyl siding under out door taps in minutes. Good for bathtub scum and calcium deposit, grease etc

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and some simple green.

The biggest problem is that the white is a covering (usually paint) over the aluminum so you can't attack it with anything too harsh. If you use the magic eraser you will need to follow up with wax, it tends to take some of the shine off.

Don't take life too seriously, it's not permanent.

We use Star Brite Rust stain remover on our boat and they state it will also work on metal. You can find it at just about any marine supply store.
