1st be sure the receptacle is 120 volts not 240 volts (they look the same), monitor the voltage in the RV.

If you are in NY now, and the outlet you are plugged into is a GFCI, then go get a box of Press'N Seal so the rain and/or morning dew doesn't trip the breaker. This really does work - up to about 1.5"/hr - after that, head for the boats.

I know there are charts to show otherwise but I run 3- 50ft 30 amp extension cords and actually have run 4 inline and never had a problem with any of the appliances in the MH. Keep plugs tight and I file the prongs to shiny copper to prevent any resistance.
Regular extension cords will get hot with the air conditioning on. There are different gauge extension cords a good gauge contractors extension cord can won't heat up like a household one will. But the RV 30 amp or 50 amp cord is the best bet for running more than one.

Last summer we successfully ran our 30 amp rig with a 15,000 AC unit on continuously in 100F AL heat from a 20amp breaker with a 50' 12AWG extension to the dog bone with out issue. Took care to not let the AC go into HI. Always initiated AC start-up with the thermostat within 1F of the ambient temp. Killed the AC to brew java & used propane to heat water for dish washing. We never use the nuke for cooking.

When I had my other MH 30amp, I used to go to a lake in TN, friends had a 30AMP outlet outside I would run 2 30AMP cords plus the one at the RV no problem at all. Roy

Was trying to decide whether to make my own 60' extension with Romex or buy a 2nd 30A cord for $50. Based on your info plus the cost, I'm going with the 2nd extension cord. Cost is about $20 less, it gives me the flexibility of having 2 cords and now I know it will function OK for my purposes.
Yes, I'm living in the RV but I use AC rarely, only on low, and make sure everything else is turned off. Also, my RV is only 24'. One of the two connections will be in the middle of a gravel driveway, so I'm going to bag & tape it, then bury it just in case somebody wanders off course.
The guy who said "Free advice is not worth what you paid for it" obviously never heard of the RV Forum.
For keeping connections high and dry and to prevent them from pulling apart, is a plastic food container with lid, the small ones like glad or zip lock make for leftovers.
Cut a small slot no bigger than the circumference of the cord on either side 'near the top' of the container, drop your plug connection in the plastic container and put lid on. Even if water does get into container it is suspended from the bottom keeping it nice and dry.
At sporting events where extension cords are going each and everywhere we run a reflective tape around the middle of the container to remind those guys that come back late from the bars to go around our connections!!
