Don't you have a roll of Duct tape in the basement that will take care of a temporary fix?

If I had somewhere I really had to be, I'd probably try a temp fix. As a fulltimer with no home base, I'd rather get it fixed before hitting the interstates again.

As far as tellin on myself? Maybe someone will learn from my bad example and avoid a similar situation.

Joe, off the topic, but where is Cedar Creek, TX? Got to go there some time with my "Cedar Creek".

It sits between Austin and Bastrop. If you're going to visit, go in the spring when the roadside wildflowers start blooming. If you stay long enough you'll also get to see the walking sticks and leaf katydids come out in force.
