I have a 31' 2000 Class C Georgie Boy Maverick that I bought about a year ago, and every time I fill up the fresh water tank water comes out of 2 tubes at the rear of the rv. That should be normal, to let me know the tank is full, right? Anyway after I shut off the water the 2 tubes continue to leak for several minutes then stops. That is until I go to move the rv then water starts to come out of the 2 tubes again the whole time I am driving. I had a guy one time yell at me going down the highway about it. CG is 1 hour away and I lose 1/3rd of my fresh water before we even get there. I was following my wife as she was driving the rv home today and noticed water spitting out of the tubes and the tank was less than 1/3 full.
I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem. Can I just stick some bolts or screw in the tubes to stop the leaking?

I think this occurs some in our 1993 GBM MH if I do not shut off the water just before it starts overflowing but not to the extent you are experiencing. Now we just raise the bed and if that is not handy I have one of the kids watching when the full light comes on then I stop filling after a couple minutes.
I do not think bolts, etc will be a good solution.

Where is the fresh water tank actually located? Where relative to those two tubes? I'm sure you checked for this, but TWO sure sounds like Low Point Drains, one for Hot water piping, one for Cold.
How do you fill the tank? I ask that because some RVs have a simple tank filler "hole" but others fill from the same connection you use on a hookup campsite and you direct the water to fill the tank by turning a couple valves.
Does water come out those two tubes when you have the coach "hooked up?"

On my Winnebago Class C I have two tubes and like j-d posted mine are low point drains. The valves are inside one of the rear storage bays on the passenger side. Look around and see if you can find valves for the tubes. Happy travels.

The same thing happened to mine when I dewinterized and sanitized the FW tank. I overfilled it and the two vent lines filled with water. When I turned off the filler hose the vent lines started syphoning out the tank and collapsing it. Solved the problem with Shark Bite "tee" fittings installed in the horizontal run of the vent lines at the tank top. I installed about a 4 inch section of Pex with a valve added to the end. Now if I overfill the tank and it starts syphoning I just open the valves to break the vacuum. There is never any pressure on those lines so I wasn't too concerned about using Shark Bite fittings.
These two lines are not drains. They go down into the FW tank from the top and directly out the bottom with no valves in between. The plumbing diagram calls them vent lines. Without something to vent the tank it would either collapse or stop pumping after using water from it.

Doubted the low point drains are still open, but doesn't hurt to ask. The "two lines" above sound like they're meant to siphon the tank! Our FW tank is under our floor, between the chassis rails. It has fill and vent at the top and outlet and drain at the bottom.
About SharkBite - I added a shutoff valve in the supply line to our toilet so I can work on it without shutting the rest of the coach off. It's not the brass SB brand, just a plastic valve from Lowe's with those gripper teeth. Haven't had a minute's trouble with it. Sealed the first try and been good since, under pressure.

On my Class-C the overflow tube is next to the fill spout. I think it's more of a vent. Anyway, it leaks when we are driving if I fill the fresh water tank completely full. And it seems to leak when we are driving at higher altitudes (in the mountains)
From the way you described your vents I am not sure but they sound like low point drains.

On my class C I have one line that comes out from near the bottom of the fresh water tank with a valve so I can drain the tank underneath the motorhome. I have two low point lines, one for hot water and one for cold water that are on the floor and drain under the motorhome for winterizing. On the side of the motorhome about half way up the side I have a compartment with a hole for filling the fresh water and next to it a small line with a screen on it to let the air escape as it fills. Otherwise the tank would have to let the air out the in line or blow up like a balloon. I had a motorhome that also had an overflow line coming out of the top of the fresh water tank and drain to the ground.
If I am fast filling the fresh water tank the water will come out of the fill and the air out line when the tanks get full. After a few seconds the water stops. Sometimes going down the road with the wind going by the fill hole (yes the compartment door is closed) it will pull a little water out of the tank. I have never had it empty the tank down to one third level.
As other have suggested, I would suggest you check three valves for winterizing and draining the fresh water tank. Try not to over fill the tank when filling it.

My low point drains have valves on them which stay closed in normal use. The two lines that I added valves to are called vents in the plumbing diagram. They both come out the top of the FW tank, travel across the top and run down the side to an outlet in the floor. I guess they do perform two functions. They keep the tank from over pressure if you get distracted while filling and they allow the water to be pumped out when needed. I also have low point drains and a drain for the FW tank. All of the drains are a real PIA to get to under the bed.
