We have a 15" Coby TV / DVD / MP3 player in our master bedroom. I have rarely used it especially since we got the Dish Network / Winegard Carryout set up.
I want to wire the Coby TV direct for cable -- so when we go to a campsite that has free cable I can hook up that TV. Does any one know if it is cable ready or do I need a box for it?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

find the exact model number and input that into google search. maybe someone out there has a spec sheet listed for it...

Also 'cable ready' is getting less meaningful. Check with your cable company but more and more cable companies are now going all digital where you HAVE to have a digital box (not just ATSC tuner) to receive programming (kind of like DSS - you must have the companies receiver) (our cable company is changing at the end of this month - before you could receive the cable system simply by connecting the cable to your TV, now you'll have to use one of their digital receivers).
coby is new on market so it should be cable ready on remote look for source button look top left corner it will give you all selection such as tv, cable, s-video, etc.
