We did and got snowed on. Over the course of the weekend nearly 2 feet fell and melted. Other than the DW and daughter ending up with a stomach bug it was still fun.
We hung out at our campground in the California Delta. It was a nice weekend wind blew a little to much for my liking but got the boat out a little and played a lot of horseshoes!

Traffic and camping are horrible in this part of WA. So, I never camp or travel very far on Memorial Day. On the plus side, traffic in town is fantastic!

We drove to the National Cemetery in North Phoenix to honor the veterans who served our country and are now gone. The freedom we enjoy and hopefully cherish comes from their service and sacrifice.
This is not a judgement of those who exercised that freedom by going camping or anything else. Just hoping folks don't forget what the day is about.

Went down to Clarkston, WA ... then up the Snake River into Hells Canyon. After a 10 hour trip, went the other way, down the Snake River where everybody else was also enjoying the holiday.
Indeed thanks for those who served and are serving, who have preserved the right to live in peace in our own homes, to freely worship God, to pursue life, liberty and happiness.
