Aside from the standard burgers, dogs and steaks, I'd love to hear your more creative camp meal ideas!

This is an old Boy Scouts meal. Make a hamburger steak (oversized hamburger) and season it with your favorite seasoning. Place it on a large piece of aluminum foil. Add chopped onion, carrots, bellpeppers and several small red potatos. Wrap the foil around tightly and then place at least 4 more layers of foil sealing the pack completely. Make one for each person.
Place in the coals of a wood fire or on a BBQ Grill for about 25 minutes. Turn every 5-10 minutes. Take one out at the end of 25 minutes to check to see if everything has cooked. Pay attention to the potatos too make sure they are done.
If not done rewrap with foil and place in fire for another 10 to 20 minutes.
All the flavors blend together making for a nice hearty meal. We usually cook corn on the cob in foil along side. The corn takes about 15 minutes.
Most of the time we just eat right out of the foil. Form it into a bowl to hold in the grease from the meat.

Nearly famous Sausage Dogs
Bun length smoked sausage split on opposing sides, bell pepper stuffed in one side, onion in the other and then wrapped with bacon and grilled until bacon is crispy. Nothing else like it.

Grill some corn, add a bun with mustard and cole slaw on the side with it and you have a meal.

5-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cover with 2 cans of Campbells Cheese & Broccoli soup.
Line a baking dish with foil, makes cleaning up a lot easier.
Bake at 350 for 40-60 minutes, making sure the chicken states covered in soup. You can also cover with foil and cook over a fire.

Dessert
Take banana and cut in half longways. Add Hershey chocolate candy bar busted up and some small marshmellows. Lay in fire coals till the chocolate and mellows are melted, then spoon eat.
Those bacon wrapped sausages look awsome!!! I'm making those when I get home.

Baked potatoes in the crock pot. All the fixins on the side.
Twinkee roasted over the fire on a skrewer long ways so it won't fall off. When done drizzle with chocolate syrup.

Fla-gypsy that sure looks good! I am going to make them this week along with the grilled corn. The only thing I would add is butter and Old Bay seasoning on the corn before placing it in the foil. Thanks for the inspiration-- and the great pics.
These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter... I go somewhere to get something, and then wonder what I'm "here after."
