Anyone have experience with TravelNet Mobile RV Internet? What I'd like to be able to do is watch recorded shows from my HuluPlus account. I would also like to know if anyone has had success using it with a Slingbox on their home system?

Streaming video eats up data so fast its unlikely you are going to find any affordable data plan that will work.

If you go to the Verizon or ATT web site they have a area where you can plug in your expected use and how many GB it will eat up in certain lengths of time. If you watched a movie on ATT internet you'd probably have a monthly bill of $6 or $7 hundred dollars, maybe more.

If you can get the Sprint unlimited plan AND stay on the Sprint network (doubtful) you can do it. Get off of Sprint network and who knows what the charges will be

As mentioned above, most of the Wireless provides have but caps on the number of Gigs you can use in a month, to many folks streaming movies and what have you. I have a 5 Gig cap and and then they slow service down to almost nothing. Some will advertise Unlimited but read the fine print, unlimited, but with a reduced brand width after so many Gig. IF you are in a "Clear Spot" 4G coverage area, YES!, you can do streaming video with their unlimited service for $50-60 dollars a month and NO contract.

This is REALLY helpful!

How about the satellite systems, do they offer internet access in addition to TV?

No, satellite TV is totally separate from satellite internet. Satellite internet is fine if you absolutely have to have internet everywhere, but it is relatively slow and has daily download limits that pretty much rule out streaming.

For streaming you can assume that 2 hours of SD (standard def) TV will use about 1GB of data. HD can use several times that depending on the resolution being streamed.

We use Verizon but are fortunate to have grandfathered unlimited 4G plans. This month we used 14GB of data which includes a couple of HD movies and a 2GB update for my GPS.

So it sounds as though the TravelNet device will indeed support streaming, my issue is what data plan am I able to get. Camping World appears to be offering the Sprint plan but it sounds as though I could also get a plan from ATT or Verizon, True?

Most all the wireless companies have data plans. The only catch is how much money are you willing to part with to stream video.
