Looking to take a flight to a glacier and maybe a dog sled ride too. Will be in Fairbanks, Denali, Anchorage, etc. this summer. Would appreciate any recommendations and prices. Thanks,
Rick

How about a flight over Denali. Be sure it's "over".

And you can see glaciers---see the "river" covered with debris.

Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

There are some flight services in Talkeetna that will do what you want. Talkeetna is a unique town between Denali and Anchorage. Good restaurants and local micro breweries. There is also a Train that you can ride that is a whistle stop to Hurricane and back. Great views of Denali.

Talkeetna Camper Park This is where we stayed.

Fly K2 aviation out of Talkeetna. We landed on the glacier that they drop off the climbers at the base of Mt McKinley(Denali)

Check out www.ididaride.com

This is south of Anchorage. We stayed at Williwaw state campground and drove up to Alyeska. Had a ball! Alpine Air flies you up to the glacier in a helicopter. If you watched Sarah Palins Alaska, this is where she was. There is also a glacier sled dog tour in the Seward area, but I don't know anything about that one.

Also while in Talkeetna, check out www.mahaysriverboat.com
We took the Devils Canyon tour on an airboat and highly recommend it. The rapids in Devils Canyon was great!

Hire a bush pilot in Hains to fly over Glacier NP. $150.00 for 2 hrs of E-tickt ride. Awsome.
