We are home for the summer and would like to travel some here in Ontario. Looking to hook up with others doing the same.

enjoy your travels.
we are in Niagra at the moment, took in the falls and marineland... staying at the jellystone camp ground just down by the falls...
hoping to head up to Sault Ste Marie on Sunday and take the train ride. I suspect we will be staying at Blueberry Hill Campground on the west side of the Sault at the bottom of the hill on the right.
Give us a blip if you want to stop in for a drink

What part of Ontario?
The Ontario Good Sam Club is holding a Samboree on Labour Weekend in Drayton, ON. It might be something to look into.

we don't do much camping in the summer here in Ontario. We live in a small neighborhood with a lake and walking trails, and lots of nature around. We will be heading to Bancroft on August 1st for the rockhound gemboree. Its aug 2-5th. We stay at Bancroft tent and trailer camp just outside town. If you are into rocks, crystals, beads etc. its the place to be.if you are in the area, stop by and visit. Its a small campground, and we are in site 33.We are also outside vendors near the arena selling various crystal specimens and wire wrapped jewelry. After camping for 5 months in Arizona during the winter, I like to enjoy the house in the summer and visits with the grandkids.Dona

had a girlfriend years ago who moved from Shelburne to live on St Joseph Island and she loved it. Her hubby and kids still live there but sadly she passed away last year. Have not had the pleasure of visiting.
The rockhound gemboree is run by the Bancroft and District chamber of commerce. Lots of really interesting things go on. Even day trips to rock quarries for collecting. The princess sodalite mine is in Bancroft and has collecting and a great gift shop. Check them out..Dona
