We found a cheap old camera once and would have sent it to the owner because of family pics but not one picture held any contact info.

My phone has a notepad function. I have a section titled "All license info". I always have my phone with me so I always have the info with me.

I run into this at state parks mostly and CEO parks.
But becoming more a requirement in many private parks.

I'm with your wife. Heck our cell phone is kept turned off in glove box, so I'd have to go back for it.
In 200,000 miles nobody has EVER made me give license number of both TT and TV. Maybe you look more iffy than us old folks?

My plate number is right on the front of the TV, If you need it you only have to look at it. My phone is also turned off unless I want to make a call.
