Where in florida can you buy Onan Onamax 15w40 for gensets.......only certain auto parts stores or places like walmart?

any good quality 15/40 diesel oil will work just fine

I don't know if Onamax is anything special but 15w40 is very common. I use Shell Rotella 15w40 in my diesel truck. You can get it most anywhere.

iam pretty sure the OP knows that 15 40 is pretty commen.For some reason he wants to spend extra money just to get onan oil
I use the New HD wallmart 15/40.It specs out much better than shell does and its less money

Same here and when we moved to Rotella 5W-40 we did the same with the generator. One just needs to match or exceed Onan's oil specs.

Tampa has both a Camping World and a Cummins Onan sales and service dealer that have what you seek. I prefer to use a 15W40 synthetic in my onboard Onan which I pick up from a local auto parts store.

I use Delo 15-40 in both my CAT engine & Onan QD genny. Both engines are fine with the Delo oil specs and i buy it at Wal Mart.

I use Chevron 15W-40 in my Cummins but I use 5W-50 Rotella Syn oil in my genset
