It was too hot to comfortably work outside today so I turned on the air conditioning and worked inside. I have a Road Star TV antenna by Winegard on the RV. The existing 12 volt signal amplifier did not work so I removed it from inside the wall. I replaced it with a RCA 10dB amplifier that plugs into a 120 volt AC outlet. After I was done, testing showed I still had better reception with the small indoor amplified antenna I had temporarily connected to the TV. I need to do more research on antennas.

We don't have air conditioning in our house. The early heat wave in Wisconsin has been exceptional with 90+ temperatures. The house has warmed to an uncomfortable level for sleeping so we slept in the RV last night with the air conditioning running. It was great.
Today I ran the air conditioner fan on high and had my wife holding a shop vac hose in the blower mode over a light fixture hole. It was an attempt to pressurize the ceiling area while I used soap water to check for leaks on the roof. I did not find any. I think I need more pressure. Last night's storms showed me I still have a leak. It was too hot to do much else.

We slept in the RV again last night. I went into town today to buy a seal for the base of the air conditioner and wall tiles. Then I started removing the wall covering on the inside of the driver's side.

I removed more wall covering then glued the exposed panels. Finally I put up a couple tiles to see how it would look.

I removed the air conditioner to replace the seal. It looks like this is the source of my leak. I have to let things dry before I can reassemble it.

Nice job Magik!! I have A 1984 Tioga (paid $1500.00 for it) that I have been going through although not as fast as you but mine is livable so we use it more than I work on it. Roof leaks ate me up for a year I finally just Eternabonded every roof joint then mopped on elastimeric sealant on everything up top.
The Biggest Problem I have now is that I cant stay at any KOA's and alot of other camp grounds because of the age!?!?! Most will only allow 2000 and newer MH's no matter the condition, Some will allow my 1984 after I send pictures so I spend more time planning a trip than I do on most trips.
Any way sound like your enjoying the time invested and that is what it is all about!!!

I cleaned the area around the air conditioner with Scrubbing Bubbles then acetone and installed Eternabond roof tape. I reinstalled the air conditioner with a new seal and assembled all the components.

I worked on repairing a section of the roof. I removed the silicon patches over cracks made by a roof box rubbing through the roof. I stapled the edges down then covered with Marine Goop. Tomorrow I will apply Eternabond roof tape after the Marine Goop dries.

Yesterday, we had scattered showers so I couldn't work on the roof. Today, I applied another coat of Marine Goop to the patch areas just for insurance.
