I installed a set of the adjustable Koni shocks in January 2006 and now one of the front ones seems to be leaking oil down the lower end. I am taking pictures of it to send to Koni as proof it is leaking but am wondering who and what phone number I should contact for best results? Want to be sure I send the picture to the right person.
They'll probably replace it, but you will have to give them your CC# and will give your a credit after you send it back and they verify the defect. Been there, done that. Just call their warranty department at (859) 586-4100 Option #6. Here's their web site concerning warranties: http://www.koni-na.com/pdf/warranty.pdf

I still have the invoices where I purchased the front and back ones separately directly from Koni. I installed them myself. If one front one is leaking, will they just replace the defective one? I've always read/heard that just like brakes, shocks should be replaced in pairs. Wonder what this will do, one new one and one used well broken in one on the front of a DP? Surely a company like Koni wouldn't condon such an arrangement.
