I've seen conflicting opinions on if a manual shift Chevy Aveo can be flat towed. The owners manual says not to tow it flat, yet I've read that people do tow it flat with no problems. I've even found baseplates made for the Aveo for sale. Any ideas please?

According to the Remco Towing Application Charts there is no know problems flat towing the manual transmission.
