Finally got my Iphone 4 switching from a Droid. Like the feel and touch but having a problem using the two finger expand stroke. On most of the websites I visit the expand won't work. Move does work on RN.net.
Any suggestions?

iPhone--
Suggest you call "Apple Care Service" and talk to a service tech person. I just checked my iphone on RV.net and am able to "expand" the web page. It sounds like you need to take your iPhone in to an apple care center to be checked out.

Some web sites have a mobile version that comes up and these usually won't expand. Some of them also have an "fiull site" option which will take you to their regular website which will then allow you to expand.

If your hands are really dry sometimes it doesn't work the first time. And the other side of that coin is if it's really humid out you get your fingers anywhere's near the screen and you are entering all kinds of stuff! I found websites with a lot of frames sometimes don't expand quickly with one swipe.

One trick with websites with columns like many news sites is to double tap on the article and it will expand the column to the full width of the screen and is usually easily readable that way. That to me is easier than a two finger expansion gesture.

Are the websites you're looking at Java enabled? I don't think Apple mobile products deal with Java.

Flash is not Java, totally unrelated.
And there aren't too many websites these days that use Java.
