We are staying at Topsail in Destin for a week and thought we might rent a pontoon boat and go to Crab Island. I was just wondering if anyone has done that and what pontoon rental did you go with?

Just west of Destin in Ft Walton Beach on Hwy 98 is the Ft Walton Elks...big parking lot and they rent pontoon boats there at a reasonable rate for the area....tele # is 850-244-5632 ....Chuck....

Sorry bout that...just saw you're staying at Topsail.... just had Destin planted in my mind and not that bad a ride from Destin to Ft Walton Elks
We are staying at Topsail between the SS and Wake Forest games....we usually stay there or the Ft Walton Elks between at least one game
Do you guys tailgate at the FSU games ?...Chuck

Yes, but not with our camper. My son graduated from FSU and my daughter is going there. We go up for all the games and tailgate. The lots for campers only allow motorhomes and we have a TT.

We have a friend who has setup an RV lot just down Lake Branford rd...by the overpass..less than a mile from the stadium..holds maybe 16 RVs'..has water and elect....he ends up with maybe 10 rv's on any given w/e...if ya ever need a spot ,let us know...

We were scheduled to rent from the Elks club during Spring Break, but were not able to due to high winds. They were really great to work with, and nice people. Price was cheaper than anything else in the area.
