And I've seen a "Top 10" list where most of these dogs were down in the middle somewhere and some not on it at all. The #1 on that list was Dalmation!
See ya' down the road!

It's the dog and the owner, not the breed.

All you have listed is large breeds and some of the meanest are small breeds.

Not my list...just someone's article about dog breeds and how insurance companies view them for homeowners.

The breed list is based upon insurance claims.
This list is based upon the same type of analysis as was used to determine the most dangerous city for drivers (Baltimore) or the most dangerous car to drive (Corvette).

In 30 years as a Police Officer, the above pictured breed, Chihuahua...was responsible for sending me to the Hospital with puncture wounds 7 of the 10 times I was "dog attacked"!
Granted the Chihuahua is not likely to send you to the Morgue like some other breeds...but none the less I still have the scars on my ankles! (Wimper!)
It's interesting to note that the Presa Canarios are the only truely deadly dog, actually born, bred and trained to hunt down and kill humans! Yet aren't even on the list. I saw a young lady who had been attacked by one once...her face had to surgically re-attached.

I think they eat Alligators for lunch...

Presa's are on the list. I have known three Akitas that were totally vicious and unpredictable, all raised by caring, responsible owners that did nothing to encourage the viciousness. I don't buy the "It's how they are raised" argument. Some dogs are born mean.
