I have a 2005 Fleetwood Expedition DP. My fog lights are not working and decided to check it out. The wiring looks good, so I began to remove one of the lights. I removed the 3/4" not on the back and pulled the light housing out to examine. I can hear something rattling around inside, so I'm pretty sure it's a bad bulb.

Now for my question. How do I get to the bulb? There it a solid housing around the glass and I can't figure out how to get to the bulb. I didn't try too hard since I don't want to break anything.

Any help would be appreciated. A part number for the bulb would also be helpful.

Thanks

I beleive it is a one piece sealed beam bulb, in other words you replacec the whole glass piece, there is no seperate bulb per se. Measure the diameter and google sealed beam 4 inch or what ever it measures. Or look for a part number on the inside of the sealed beam.

Make sure the engine is running and you are in gear. If I remember correctly the fog lights need to be in gear running with headlights on dim.

I can't say I've ever tested them in gear, I'll check that out, thanks!

Thanks for not asking how I know.
Also make sure parking brake is off. As I think more about it I am pretty sure the parking brake being off is the key not being in gear. Might as well check it both ways.
