Has anyone read about using BKF cleaning their rv? Somewhere I read a article on it and even wrote down the information. Now that I want to clean the rv. I can't find the info.
All is I remember is they used BKF, then washed with Dawn or something and waxed with some floor wax...Sorry but that is all I can remember..
Anybody know or seen this article.? If you could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated..Thankyou..

There is a post about using ZIP step #3 or 4, I can't recall all the details. Basically the bar keepers friend will remove all the wax from the RV, and leave it looking dull, all the neighbors will think you are out of your mind when they see how dull the RV looks. Then a good cleaning to get rid of any residue, and cover with the correct floor finish, and the RV will shine like never before!

Here is a link to the older post. http://forums.woodalls.com/Index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/25818736.cfm

Just do a search for either Red max pro, or Zep. Search is located in the upper left of this screeen. All kinds of articles.

I wonder if it is ok to use Red Max or Zep on a trailer that is already clean and shiny. My trailer is one year old and its looks great and I want to keep it that way. Do I need to always strip old wax off first.

If you don't strip old rv type wax before using Zep or Red Max it will peel. After waxing with either of the above you can just touch up using Zep or Red Max after a good wsh.

I thought they were idiots to use rexmax pro#3 on an expensive and dear RV!!!
So ai tried it on my 06 chevy cutaway van for work with a fiber glass box.. LOVE it nice and shinny and most of all easy to clean and do a touch up.

NOW my new 2012 Big Sky has been done and the frong BILL BOARD is very easy to debug and clean after a Gulf Shore trip...
